I had a great two weeks diving with Diving & Discovery dive centre (c/o Iberotel Fanara Club & Residence) in Sharm-el-Sheikh. Incredibly well organised and friendly staff, well-looked after kit (if sometimes showing general signs of wear and tear), free Nitrox (32%) for all divers, good boat with excellent crew, amazing house-reef, really nice air-conditioned diver centre (with shop, 2 class rooms, changing and storage facilities, etc) and good range of courses.
In 11 days diving I only had one problem (busted hired inflator-house connector for BCD on both my reg-set AND the boat spare) which was sorted in minutes without any impact on the diving. The staff really couldn't do enough to look after the guests.
Took the TDI Advanced Nitrox Course with instructor Tom Smith who was a great English instructor who really took time to explain the science behind the theory with practical examples and plenty of extra information and materials over and the above the course itself. He was also an excellent dive guide and videographer.
Very highly recommended. Would consider visiting again.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience diving with TEK TRIBE, in Dahab. I was very disappointed with the unprofessional staff and management, and lack of up-to-date knowledge of Technical diving. Next time I will try another centre.

Just had an excellent Tec diving Holiday at Nirvana in Dahab Egypt with Raymond Hermans. For 11 days just tec dives all superb. I would recommend him not just for Tec training but also as a no-nonsense relaxed Tec guide. Thx a million Raymundo, "I'll be Back"!!

Again 11 days of Tec Diving with Raymond Hermans from Nirvana Dahab. A spotless perfomance. Seen the underside of the Arch almost as many times as I have seen my own frontporch:). All dives were meticulously planned and executed towards perfection, but procedures remained relaxed and fun. I feel priviliged to have been on depths and seen things that not many people have. I would recommend wholeheartedly Raymond Hermans as a Tec instructor/guide in beautiful Dahab. Also thanks to Ashraf who took care of our equipment and mixed gasses to perfection! Will attach some nice pics of the acrh blue hole and the canyon.

I’ve just passed my ER-course in Dahab with Raymond Hermanns from Nirvana. If somebody is looking for technical dives or trainings – he is surely one of the best to choose! I had an excellent (and challenging) training with the result, that I feel much more confident now as a technical diver. Raymond is a great teacher! Thanks for your patience, all the help with my equipment configuration and the nice dives after the course, dear Raymond! I will be back soon…!

I completed my Advanced Trimix course with Harry Hayward last year in Dahab and would deffinately recomend both TDI and Harry to progress as a technical diver. He not only is an expert in his field, he is a great teacher and explained the trickier aspects of adv trimix to me easily. It was a challenging and tough course however Harry kept it fun and i look forward to becoming a technical instructor with him soon.

I took Advanced Nitrox through Extended Range at Nirvana Dive Center with Raymond Hermans. Because of Raymond´s superior abilities as an instructor the course was safe and fun, but also challenging. I feel confident now to continue exploring the underwater world at a technical level. Many thanks to Raymond for making my time in Dahab so productive and enjoyable.

I took Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures at Nirvana Divers in August of 2008 and had a great experience. The experience and talent of my instructor, Raymond Hermans, made the courses safe and enjoyable but also challenging. Because of the superior quality of my instruction, I feel confident in my ability to dive safely in both a technical and recreational range. I highly recommend Nirvana Divers and Raymond to anyone looking for a terrific dive training experience.
